Vision

Small on purpose.
Considered on principle.

The Name

Why "Sixteen"

The club takes its name from Sixteen Mile Creek, the waterway that winds through Oakville down to the lake — quiet, local, easy to overlook unless you already know it. It felt like the right namesake for something built to be known intimately by a few, rather than famous to many. The XVI monogram is our nod to it, carried through everything we do.

The Standard

What membership is meant to feel like

Not an amenity. Not a status symbol worn loudly. A short list of people you're genuinely glad to have your family around, and a calendar that makes it easy to see them.

A holiday gathering, toasting together
A Calendar That Reflects Its Members

Every celebration our members actually keep

Our signature calendar celebrates the diversity of modern Canadian families. Rather than asking everyone to fit a single tradition, we curate experiences that honour the cultures, holidays, and milestones of the families who make up our community.

We believe exceptional communities are built through thoughtful curation, not crowded calendars. Rather than filling the year with events, we create a select number of memorable experiences that members genuinely look forward to—and talk about long after they're over.

Where We're Headed

A deliberate, unhurried growth

Now

Establishing the founding circle in Oakville, with a full first-year calendar across every programming track.

Next

Deepening what already works — more signature evenings, closer venue partnerships, a membership committee to preserve the standard as we grow.

Later

A second circle in a neighbouring community, only once Oakville feels complete on its own terms — never before.

“We are not trying to be everywhere. We are trying to be exactly right, for exactly the right people.”
